My first night was spent near Colorado Springs, home of the Air Force Academy. Nearby is Pikes Peak, which towers to a magnificent height of over 14,000 feet. Year round, snow clings to the mountain peak. What a Sight!
What follows is a high altitude recipe for Colorado Biscuits.
HIGH ALTITUDE BISCUITS
2 Cups Flower 1 Cup Buttermilk 1 T Baking Powder
Mix ingredients.
Make into about a dozen biscuits.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
Serve Hot.
